The NSW Privacy Commissioner has made public interest directions in relation to the Youth on Track program.
Youth on Track is a trial strategy for reducing juvenile offending through improved case management and early intervention.
The public interest directions will help facilitate the important transfer of information between the participating government agencies and non-government organisations who are involved in this strategy.

New South Wales’ new Information Commissioner has been appointed and will commence in the role next month, Attorney General Greg Smith announced today.
Elizabeth Tydd has been appointed as the state’s new Information Commissioner and will serve for a term of five years from 23 December 2013.
