Information Commissioner approvals under section 41(2) of the GIPA Act for additional facilities

From 28 November 2018, government agencies are now able to approve additional facilities for the making of an access application or the payment of an application fee. This facilitates the development of systems for electronic lodgement of applications and the use of electronic payment systems such as EFT and credit.

Prior to this date, government agencies were required to seek the approval of the Information Commissioner, before approving additional facilities for the making of an access application or the payment of an application fee.

The table below lists all requests made to the Information Commissioner and approval dates (in date order).
