The Information and Privacy Commission NSW (IPC) supports NAIDOC Week, this year celebrated from 8 – 15 November 2020 with the theme Always Was, Always Will Be.
The IPC supports United Nations Day on 24 October 2020 and the UN’s 75th anniversary. This year’s theme is UN75: 2020 and Beyond – Shaping Our Future Together.
Information Access Commissioners and Ombudsmen from Australia and New Zealand have released a joint statement to mark International Access to Information Day.
The right to access government information is encapsulated in the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights. In NSW, we celebrate this over a week called Right to Know.
