IPC Stakeholder Forum
The IPC Stakeholder Forum provides a mechanism for information sharing and stakeholder engagement between the Information and Privacy Commission and NSW public sector staff with an interest in information access and privacy matters.
It is a space for practitioners to connect with peers, learn and hear about work being done across the public sector, and a place for them to contribute.
The Forum meets twice a year and features:
- updates from the Information Commissioner and Privacy Commissioner
- IPC updates
- presentations from external speakers
- practitioner-led presentations and updates on their agency's initiatives and projects.

To support the operation of the IPC Stakeholder Forum, the IPC has developed a set of Terms of Reference.
These Terms outline the background, purpose, membership, and meeting structure. They also provide clarity on how meetings will be conducted, how input will be gathered, and how members can contribute. They are designed to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and a shared understanding of how the Forum functions.

Please note: Only NSW public sector staff are eligible to be members of the Forum. A valid and current NSW public sector email address must be used to register for membership of the Forum.
If you have any questions about the Forum, please contact the IPC via ipcinfo@ipc.nsw.gov.au.
