As part of Privacy Awareness Week 2018 (7-13 May), the Information and Privacy Commission NSW (IPC) held a thought leadership event hosted by the Privacy Commissioner, Samantha Gavel. Opened by the NSW Attorney General, the Hon. Mark Speakman SC MP, the theme of the event, Privacy in the Digital Age, recognised that new technology offers both opportunities and challenges as the ever changing landscape we're operating in, making it faster and easier for information to be collected, analysed and shared.
